Reminiscences: Looking Back with Larry Fitton

Everyone remembers the best "town crier" any town or city has ever had, and the Attleboro Historical Commission in conjunction with the Attleboro Historical Volunteers want to make sure that no one ever forgets Lawrence R. (Larry) Fitton. We have produced this small book containing stories he used to tell about his childhood in the old days of Attleboro as a tribute to him.

An original member of the Attleboro Historical Commission, Larry always loved history and volunteered his time, knowledge and memories to keep it alive. Fair, honest and a gentleman, he was the right-hand man to every commission chairman. Larry Fitton was a prime example of giving back to your community. He preserved our history and he will forever be a part of it.
