The City of Attleboro is requesting sealed proposals for the Disposition of Real Property comprised of two separate parcels.  The first parcel being identified as 135 County Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.  (Parcel ID# Map 40, Lot 50), containing 1.5 Acres (+-) located in a General Residence A Zone.  The second parcel being identified as 0 Cora Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 (Parcel ID# Map 40, Lot 30, 31, 39 & 40) containing .55 Acres (+-) located in a General Residence A Zone.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) packets are available for pick-up at Attleboro City Hall, Purchasing Office 2nd flr, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. The RFP is also available for download at the bottom of this advertisement. Addendum: Addendums to the RFP will be sent by email to those who received a copy from the Purchasing Assistant. The City shall not notify any Proposer who received a copy of the RFP from anyone other than the originator. If you download the RFP from the City's website, the addendum will be emailed to the email address supplied when filing out the "Plan Holders Form".

Special Requirements:
Each proposal must be in a SEALED envelope or package and submitted to Carol Brown, Attleboro City Hall, Purchasing Office 2nd flr, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019. Proposers must submit one original, five copies and one thumb-drive (pdf) in a sealed envelope(s) clearly labeled "Disposition of Real Property 15 County St & 0 Cora St, Attleboro, MA". A bid security deposit of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) (cash, treasurers' check, cashiers' check, certified check or money order) must be submitted as part of the proposal package. Such bid security deposit shall be conditioned upon the proposer abiding by the terms and conditions in the RFP. The successful bidder’s bid security deposit shall be retained and applied towards any deposit requirements under the Purchase and Sale Agreement.
Miscellaneous:
The sale of the Property is subject to review and recommendation by the mayor and by an evaluation committee consisting of several City officials. The selection of the buyer shall be made by the Attleboro Municipal Council, in accordance with City of Attleboro Ordinances, Section 2-11.5. The sale of the Property is subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B and any/all other applicable state/local provisions.
